Hi, I’m deanna Preis

I’m a trainer or should I say “interpreter” and advocate of the horse, focusing on clear communication, happy horses and healthy movement. I have a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Biology which formed a nice foundation for more equine specific anatomy and function courses. This allows me to often times pinpoint where horses are struggling and where they need support.

The way we work with horses is shifting and we are always learning. Horses are always trying to communicate with us the only way they know how. In the past, it was common to think, “the horse is just trying to get the best of you”, but we now know better. Undesired behavior is simply the horse not understanding the request, not being able to complete the request, fear, or pain. I’m here to help so that you can have the relationship with your horse that you’ve always wanted, AND keep him healthy, comfortable and sound well into old age.
